After a full assessment and a definitive diagnosis is made, treatment will consist of, but not limited to:
Manual therapy for any musculoskeletal causes
Manual therapy release of specific muscles related to the cause of your symptoms including the pelvic floor when there are areas of hypertonicity (tightness)
Progressive pelvic floor muscle re-training using real-time ultrasound , biofeedback & electrical muscle stimulation when required
Bladder training for an overactive bladder
Effective rehabilitation and return to exercise following prostate surgery or urological procedures
Acupuncture & dry needling for bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunction or pain.
