Massage Therapy

Massage Therapists assess and treat issues arising from soft tissues structures such as muscles, tendons and fascia. We offer massage services for athletes, expectant mothers, lymphatic issues and problems arising from muscular tightness.

Massage therapy can be applied in the preventative, corrective and rehabilitative phases of therapy to restore and maintain normal function of soft tissue structures of the body. The techniques used depend on the nature of the problem, but usually a combination of techniques such as massage / manual manipulation, dry needling (similar to acupuncture), and stretching are often used. Corrective exercises and home programs are usually prescribed in order to address the cause of the problem to avoid re-injury.


Massage therapy can also be used simply to restore and maintain optimal muscular function. We offer various types of massage:

  • Pregnancy Massage that utilizes custom made 'pillows' that allows the expectant mother to lie safely and comfortably on her front for a full back massage
  • Aromatherapy massage
